I ordered cables for my lifts from Paul. I installed 2 of the cables on 1 of my lifts after a few weeks. Another month goes by I decided to install the cables on the other lift. They were 4" to short. I called Paul at SVI. I wanted to send mine back and get the correct ones. Paul said to wait until he can find the correct cables. I called a few days later. Now Paul doesn't come to the phone. They took my number and said he would return the call. He never called. I called a few more times. So I gave up trying get get Paul again. Now the other sales person said they have a no return policy after 2 months. Also he tells me they charge 30% re stocking fee plus I have to pay for shipping. They gave me the wrong Parts!! I just want other to know. If they send you the wrong parts. You mite as well throw them in the trash. Rick

Ordered 2 identical parts over the phone for my boat lift and was close enough to drive and pick them up the next day. After the invoice was sent to me via email the next day I noticed that the price was double what I was expecting. Apparently, the cost was for 1 not 2 (not their fault, I should have confirmed). I returned them the next day with a signed return. I forwarded the return receipt to my sales rep and close to 3 weeks later I still don't have a refund. I reached out to them on 3 occasions with no reply. Poor customer service.

I ordered a seal kit from them, it took me a few months to opening the package to rebuild the rams and when I did I noticed that only one of the replacements pieces is correct, the rest are not. Apparently, even if they tell you the part will fit, if it doesn't you still have to pay the 20% restocking fee and should it take you longer than 30 days to confirm the parts, then you will never get your money back. Even if they send you the wrong parts, you will still have no recourse. Good info to know for the future as I will never shop there again and will ensure I never need to order anything from them again. I hope the $84 is worth it! Worthless.

First time ordering from SVI, parts were in stock for my D-ACX10, Crossover aka overhead hose fit perfect. Great customer service and on time shipping with minimal down time with one of my lifts. Will use again! Keep up the good work!

One extra star for their quick communication at the outset, until my part arrived and it was the wrong part. I had even sent a photograph, but was told after “we really have no idea of the part you are describing” - then why did you guess and sell me one you didn’t know? Then they tried to claim “we sent you the catalog to look at before ordering the part,” with our string of emails below clearly showing they hadn’t. Upon request for a return, I have received no further communication. It’s a shame they seem to be the only available search result, I will be discouraging others from doing business here.

The were very polite very knowledgeable of their products. Also our transaction was done in a very timely fashion which was very much appreciated! The price changed slightly after getting off the phone and seeing my charges on my card but because they did such a good job I was counting it as a tip for such great customer service!! Have a Benwill lift that SVI bought the rights to back in the 90's.
Parts for this through SVI are INSANLY expensive. Small plate, 2"x1/2" wide with 2 1/4" holes drilled through is $110.
Hoist pad is $290.
Quality of part purchased in the past for these hoists are of high quality but the pricing is very steep.
Time to buy a new hoist I guess.....
